How long will my product retain its quality and freshness?
Our products are ALL natural which means they do not contain artificial ingredients or preservatives! On every product, we stamp an "enjoy by date" which indicates how long your product will retain its quality and freshness. With goodies this yummy, the "enjoy by date" never seems to be a problem!

Do your products contain nuts?
Currently, we ARE using PEANUTS and TREE NUTS in some of our products. We follow a strict allergen control program, where we do a chemical clean up upon the completion of using the nuts. We also take measures to ensure that there is no co-mingling of ingredients, however given the presence of nuts in our bakery there is always a chance that nut-free products could come into contact with nuts and/or their by-products. Are Dancing Deer products certified Kosher?
Yes! All of Dancing Deer's products are certified Kosher Dairy (Star D) under the supervision of the Star-K. Our products are Dairy, Non-Cholov Yisroel; Kosher for year-round use, excluding Passover. Click here to read more...

Can I make any substitutions to the products on the web site?
Due to our high order-volume, we cannot make any substitutions to what you see on our web site - much as we would very much like to! We try to provide a large enough variety of individual products as well as medleys so that all of our Dancing Deer customers can find something to enjoy.

Don't forget that you can ALWAYS create your own combinations! For example: Order Sugar Cane Lime cookies and a Chocolate Espresso Cake, and those items will arrive together.

Are any of your products sugar-free?
Sorry! At this time none of our products are sugar-free - we use only all-natural ingredients and have not yet found a suitable all-natural substitute for pure cane sugar.

Are any of your products vegan?
No, all products contain eggs and/or egg whites.

Are your products gluten free?
No, all of our products contain wheat and wheat flour.

What if I am not satisfied with my product?
The Deers work night and day to ensure that our products are tasty and fresh, our customers are happy, and our packages are delivered on time. We're so confident that you'll love our products and services that if you are dissatisfied with any part of your Deer experience, we will do whatever it takes to make you happy. What is the Sweet Home Project?
We have developed a product line which offers a sweet way to help homeless families by eating cookies! Dancing Deer donates 35% of the retail price of the Sweet Home Product line directly to help homeless families find jobs and move into homes of their own.Click here to learn more!

Who do you use for a shipping carrier?
Dancing Deer ships all of our packages via UPS.

Do you ship outside of the United States?
No, unfortunately we cannot ship outside of the U.S.

Suggestion:
If you or a loved one outside the U.S. is craving that Dancing Deer flavor, our shortbread cookies travel very well and remain fresh for several months. You know that friend who still owes you a favor? Arrange for Dancing Deer to ship the goodies to your friend, and your friend can ship them to you - how sweet!

Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?
Yes, we ship to Alaska and Hawaii.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
Sorry! We cannot ship to P.O. boxes. UPS requires a numerical street address for all deliveries.

Which days do you ship and deliver?
The Deers work throughout the week, but bake and ship only Monday through Friday. UPS delivers on business days (Monday through Friday.) If UPS offers Saturday delivery to your shipping area, give us a call at 1-888-699-DEER to set up Saturday delivery for a flat rate fee of $30.00.

What time of the day will my package arrive?
UPS will deliver from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Typically they will deliver to businesses first, and then to residential addresses.

Does UPS require a signature for delivery?
Residential addresses typically do not require a signature. HOWEVER, if there is no one there to accept the package, and the UPS driver does not feel comfortable leaving it for ANY reason, s/he is required NOT to leave the package. UPS will make three delivery attempts before returning the package to Dancing Deer. UPS will leave a note on the door following each delivery attempt.

Business addresses do require a signature, but not necessarily from the recipient whose name is on the box. Anyone in the building is able to sign for the package.

Can I specify an exact arrival date?
Yes! The web site will ask for you to do just that. Dancing Deer will ensure that your goodies are baked and shipped in time to arrive by your chosen date.

Where do you ship from?
Our bakery is located in the Hyde Park section of Boston, Massachusetts.

How do I track my package?
Simply sign into your customer account and click on "Check on my order status/history" then click on "Track Order". If you need assistance, email our Customer Service Team at orders@dancingdeer.com or for immediate assistance, call a Customer Service Deer at 888-699-DEER anytime. How far in advance can I place my order?
As early as you'd like! The Deers will always accept early orders. We'll be sure not to bake your order or charge your credit card until just before the scheduled arrival date - that way, your goodies will arrive fresh out of the oven!

If I place my order today will it arrive by tomorrow?
For Same Day Shipping, call a Customer Service Deer at 888-699-3337 before 12pm EST to place your order. This does not mean, however, that your order will arrive that day. Although the Deers are very speedy, we cannot bake, ship, and deliver an order in one day! Click here for information on UPS transit times and Dancing Deer shipping rates. ALL packages travelling outside New England, New York City, or Northern New Jersey, MUST ship UPS Next Day Air in order for the goodies to arrive the following business day.

Can I fax my order to you or send it via e-mail?
Of course! We try to make the ordering process as simple as possible. If you feel more comfortable faxing or e-mailing an order, you can send all order information to (617) 442-8118 or orders@dancingdeer.com.

Be sure to include:
1) Your billing address and contact information
2) The product(s) you wish to send and the recipient's name and address
3) Gift message(s) of 20-25 words

Upon receiving your fax or e-mail, The Deers will then contact you to gather your payment information. Please DO NOT send your credit card information via e-mail!

How do I know my online order was received at your company?
You will receive a confirmation e-mail once your order has been received. Please review the information provided - that way, we are able to make any necessary adjustments before shipping your order.

What if I need to change or cancel my order?
Please call us toll free at 1-888-699-DEER and we will do our best to assist you.

Note: Your order cannot be changed or cancelled once it has been packed for shipping. We run a continuous packing operation (especially during holidays) and packages are loaded onto pallets and onto UPS trailers all day long. The trailers are pulled away as they fill up. You can imagine how hard it would be to go hunting for one item buried somewhere in a 40 foot long trailer! So if you need to change something, call us ASAP and no later than 3:00 PM the day before the order is due to ship.

My credit card wasn't charged, did my order go through?
You will receive an e-mail confirmation once we receive your order, but your credit card will not be charged until your order is ready to ship.

When will I receive a tracking number?
To obtain tracking information for all of your orders, simply sign into your customer account and click on "Check on my order status/history" then click "Track Order". If you placed an order without signing in or need assistance, email our Customer Service Team at orders@dancingdeer.com or, for immediate assistance, call a Customer Service Deer at 888-699-DEER anytime.

Can you bill my company for corporate orders?

Can I buy your products in retail stores?
Yup! Our retail store finder makes it simple to locate stores in your area that carry Dancing Deer products. We included their phone numbers to make it easier for you - we recommend calling ahead of time and asking which of our yummy products they have in stock. No, at this time we are not producing a catalogue. During the holidays we send out a newsletter for those who do not have access to the internet, but it does not contain pictures. If you have internet access, our web site is your best resource; it has pictures of all of our current products, as well as seasonal products, sales, and promotions!
