Deep Dark Gingerbread Cake

Moist, rich, distinctive. Our signature cake. It was one of our early successes that put us on the culinary map. We’ve won many awards and accolades for this cake, including the food industry`s equivalent of the Oscars. It was based on an old Maine recipe from the Grandmother of one of our three founders. Her antique store in Bar Harbor Maine was called The Dancing Deer. Cake serves 4 large or 8 modest slices (6" in diameter).
