We're known for our fresh baked, Kosher goodies. We are a company of people who are passionate about food, nature, aesthetics and community. We use high quality ingredients, and bake everything from scratch, nothing artificial, no preservatives, and no compromise in flavor. Everything we produce has got to be straight-up yummy.
Our products do not contain preservatives! We stamp an "enjoy by date" on every product which indicates how long your product will retain its quality and freshness.
We recommend within a week if not kept frozen.

Currently, we ARE using PEANUTS and TREE NUTS in some of our products. We follow a strict allergen control program, where we do a thorough clean up upon the completion of using the nuts. We also take measures to ensure that there is no co-mingling of ingredients, however given the presence of nuts in our bakery there is always a chance that nut-free products could come into contact with nuts and/or their by-products. Yes! All of Dancing Deer's products produced in our bakery are certified Kosher Dairy (Star D) under the supervision of Star-K. Our products are Dairy, cholov stem; Kosher for year-round use, excluding Passover.
Due to our high order-volume, we cannot make any substitutions to what you see on our web site - much as we would very much like to! We try to provide a large enough variety of individual products as well as medleys so that all of our Dancing Deer customers can find something to enjoy.
Don't forget that you can ALWAYS create your own combinations! For example: Order Sugar Cane Lime cookies and a Chocolate Espresso Cake, and those items will arrive together.
Sorry! At this time none of our products are sugar-free - we use only the finest ingredients and have not yet found a suitable substitute for pure cane sugar.
No, all products contain eggs and/or egg whites.
Not all, but some are and each is shockingly delicious! We have a line of Gluten-Free cookies and brownies that taste as delicious as our regular line. Those products are clearly marked on our site with certified gluten free logo.

No, unfortunately we cannot ship outside of the U.S.
If you or a loved one outside the U.S. is craving that Dancing Deer flavor, our shortbread cookies travel very well and remain fresh for several months. You know that friend who still owes you a favor? Arrange for Dancing Deer to ship the goodies to your friend, and your friend can ship them to you - how sweet!

The Deers work throughout the week, but bake and ship only Monday through Friday. UPS delivers on business days (Monday through Friday).
Residential addresses typically do not require a signature. HOWEVER, if there is no one there to accept the package, and the UPS driver does not feel comfortable leaving it for ANY reason, s/he is NOT required to leave the package. UPS will make three delivery attempts before returning the package to Dancing Deer. UPS will leave a note on the door following each delivery attempt.
Business addresses do require a signature, but not necessarily from the recipient whose name is on the box. Anyone in the building is able to sign for the package.

If you place an order before 11:59 pm ET, it will ship the next day. Although the Deers are very speedy, we cannot bake, ship, and deliver an order in one day!

Note: Your order cannot be changed or cancelled once it has been packed for shipping. We run a continuous packing operation (especially during holidays) and packages are shipped by UPS all day long so we can get it to you as quickly as possible. So if you need to change something, call us ASAP and no later than 3:30PM the day before the order is due to ship.
